The Komodo team are delighted to announce that we have partnered up with one of Leicestershires hottest new wedding venues, the spectacular Keythorpe Manor . Nestled in over 60 acres of rural Leicestershire, Krish and Naya are developing a truly amazing bespoke wedding venue, complete with its own permanent Marquee that boasts beautiful views across the Leicestershire countryside.

In April We will be on hand at Keythorpe for their open day on Sunday the 15th April to welcome visitors to this truly amazing wedding venue and naturally discuss those all important Wedding fireworks  Doors open at 11:00 am and we hope to see you there!

On the 11th March the Komodo Fireworks team will be exhibiting at the Fabulous Normanton Park Hotel in Rutland. We have been providing spectacular wedding fireworks displays for the manager Stuart and his clients at Normanton for quite a few seasons now and the venue affords spectacular views over Rutland Water.

Here’s a picture I took of  the Normanton Church on the shores of Rutland water last year while waiting to fire a display. It was a spectacular sunset for the happy couple and a perfect evening for some fantastic wedding fireworks!

This weekend, the Komodo Fireworks team will be visiting the Hampshire wedding fayre at Southampton University. 

This event is an absolute must for both brides and suppliers with over 140 exhibitors showcasing their work. The fayre is open from 11 till 4 on Sunday the 4th March and visitors will be able to enjoy numerous bridal shows and live bands and some very special exhibitions including a dedicated vintage room. Special bridal shows and entertainment will be carried out throughout the day there will also be lots of opportunity to sample and try various products and services from the very best wedding suppliers.

 The Komodo team will be on hand throughou the day to showcase some of our latest Firework displays on our TV wall and discuss all things wedding Fireworks with you. We would love to see you  for a chat!

Here’s a few pictures of our new retail fireworks shop in Southampton!   Open Year round, Steve and the team are on hand to  advise and provide you with some of the very best retail fireworks available in the UK.

Situated just off Junction 5 of the M27  our new firework shop is open throughout the year for all of your firework needs!

Next on the agenda for our retail team will be the development and launch of our on line sales and delivery service followed later in the year with a further Firework shop in Leicestershire in the Midlands, which will be opening in time for Bonfire Night 2012!

A unique display at our Southampton showroom for this season is our new Rocket Room where you will find one of the largest selections of rockets available in the UK!  Steve absolutely loves his Rockets and we can’t seem to stop him adding even more  to to the display cabinets at every opportunity !!

After a very busy Bonfire night weekend it was fantastic to get back to the office and find some fabulous wedding photos from Luna, one of our clients who recently married at the beautiful venue of Wrest Park in Bedfordshire. Set in over 90 acres of formal gardens, the Komodo Fireworks team were on hand to provide a spectacular wedding fireworks display as part of the evenings entertainment!

Earlier in the month the Komodo team were at Burghley house putting on a great wedding fireworks display for a delighted newly wed couple Louise and James. As you can see from the photo, Burghley provides a truly spectacular venue for weddings and special events, with the Deer (who are infact very friendly) provided free of charge!!

We have just received a fantastic thank you letter from the happy couple and thought we would share it with you here:

Over the last couple of seasons we have fired quite a number of fireworks displays at Burghley House, and exhibit annualy at the Essential Weddings Fair in November. Over the last few seasons we have showcased our spectacular Pyromusical fireworks displays, where the fireworks are choreographed to dance in time to the music. This seasons wedding Fayre at Burghley House is to be held on Sunday the 6th November and the Komodo team will be closing the show with a fireworks display choreographed to classical music….. After many hundreds of hours of work behind the scenes, the Komodo team triumphed at the Belvoir Castle Firework Champions event! Our display was choreographed to the theme of “Proms in the Park” with the idea of creating a festival of classical music at the Magnificent Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. Our long suffering videography experts at Beautiful Life were on hand to capture our firework display for all to see, and the Komodo team were voted as Firework Champions on the night, gaining over 75% of the audience vote! After a somewhat hectic weekend for the guys and girls, the Komodo fireworks team were duly honoured as the 2011 firework champions at Belvoir castle.  Our display, based on the theme of “Proms in the park” stole the show and over 75% of the votes from the audience on the night!
